Joseph Guy

Joseph Guy Your Taste. Your Cognac. Joseph Guy is a quirky Cognac for people who stay true to themselves. For more than 50 years, we have been going our own way and sticking to a simple vision: a really good cognac, which you can thoroughly enjoy, does not have to be expensive.

It’s me Joseph Guy

At Joseph Guy we love people as they really are. Pure and sincere. People who don’t follow trends, but confidently rely on their own wishes, beliefs and strength. And stick to this too. Just like Joseph Guy does. For more than 50 years, we have adhered to a simple vision: a really good cognac, which you can thoroughly enjoy, does not have to be expensive. Or very ‘hip’. Or to be surrounded by slick stories about castles and noble dynasties. Joseph Guy charts its own course. Just like its consumers. After all, they themselves decide how and where to enjoy their cognac. Alone or with friends. At an important milestone in life or simply as a part of day-to-day life, because you can. But in every case for pure enjoyment and to be yourself. Because those who really stand out in the end are not those who follow others all the time, but those who stay true to themselves. And that’s what makes Joseph Guy the quirky cognac for unconventional people.

Joseph Guy V.S.O.P. 40°

Joseph Guy V.S.O.P. is aged for at least four years, resulting in a perfectly rounded taste. The longer ageing in the cask makes the taste rounder due to the effect of oxygen, and more complex with the oak wood adding substances such as vanillin and tannin. The colour is a deep golden amber. The bouquet is formed by full wood and floral tones and a light scent of alcohol. The taste is characterised by traces of vanilla, oak and a light taste of caramel. The finish is complex, balanced and surprisingly long.
