It all began in 1888 with our spirited great-grandmother Grietje. She stood experimenting behind the stills at a time when women didn’t even have the right to vote. Grietje Hooghoudt set the tone for what would later become our mission: the endless search for the most delicious flavors.

Hooghoudt Jonge Dubbele Graanjenever 35°
Jonge Dubbele Graanjenever distinguishes itself through its smoothness and flavor. The double distillation of the juniper berry brings out its refined taste exceptionally well. We distill this jenever with an extract of twelve herbs.

Hooghoudt Oude Graanjenever 38°
The Oude Graanjenever is particularly full of character. For this classic we use a pre-war recipe and a lot of our own distilled malt wine. We matured that malt wine for 17 years in Andalusian oak sherry casks.

Hooghoudt Korenwijn 38°
The Hooghoudt Korenwijn is a primeval jenever, because it contains a lot of traditionally distilled malt wine. Our Korenwijn is full-grain and intense, but soft in taste. This is due to our method of distillation and the combination of wheat, rye and corn.

Hooghoudt Bessen 20°
The Hooghoudt Bessen is round, fruity and full. Black Black Down berries that provide a deep color with a beautiful shine and the fresh juice of sun-ripened red berries make this spirit a party.

Hooghoudt Citroen Brandewijn 20°
The Hooghoudt Citroenbrandewijn (Lemon Brandy) is full-sweet yet fresh. We’ve been making it for over a hundred years. Previously based on roasted wine, now we use pure alcohol. That is because it is softer.

Hooghoudt Vieux 35°
The Hooghoudt Vieux is soft and balanced in taste. We prepare it with wine distillates. Eau de Vie de Cognac from the French Cognac region is made from crushed, fermented and distilled Ugni Blanc grapes. They provide the soft & light fresh tone. And the deep wood tones? They come from the wine distillate matured on oak. Made with love
